Engagement Specialist - I am a 28-year-old blind individual. I lost my sight at the age of five as a result of a fall. I have recovered a bit of sight, but only enough to see basic colors and some shapes. I attended and graduated from Loyola Marymount university in 2017 with a double major in English and Psychology. I very much enjoy helping people from all walks of life. I am a very open-minded individual who loves to see things from multiple points of view. Since I began working with Leads at Scale in June of 2021, I was immediately drawn to the mission that lies at the heart of this company. When I first reached out to the owner of Leads at Scale, his vision for providing people with visual impairments with professional employment opportunities resonated with me on multiple levels. His drive to help others is something I highly value. After struggling to find employment in the past as a blind individual myself, I knew immediately I wanted to be part of something that offers the potential to grow into something truly wonderful and that will give opportunities to those who need it. The Leads at Scale team is great to work with! Having a common bond of blindness creates a sense of community and understanding. Something else I enjoy about working with Leads at Scale is finding that certain client you make a connection with; then learning all about that company and becoming part of their growth. It’s rewarding to know that I am helping companies achieve their goals. Not only does it provide me a sense of pride and accomplishment, it also means helping our client’s grow their companies.
